I’ve recently had a bit of a splurge on makeup… I’ve spent far too much money but I love all my new products! Unfortunately I have bought too many makeup to be able to take photo’s of it all. So instead I thought I would share my new lipsticks I bought. There’s a few more than what I’ve got here but these are my favourites out of the lot.
From top to bottom:
Maybelline New York – Vivid Matte Liquid by ColorSensational in shade 50 Nude Thrill.
Max Factor – Colour Elixir Lipstick in shade 825 Pink Brandy.
Bourjois Paris – Color Boost Glossy Finish Lipstick in 04 Peach on the Beach.
Oriflame – Giordani Gold Voluptuous Lipstick in Satin Plum.
Maybelline New York – Lip Polish by ColorSensational in shade Glam 7.
NYX – Butter Gloss in shade Tiramisu.
This is by far my favourite lipstick at the moment! I love a nice nude shade and this is literally the perfect nude. It’s not too matte and it feels so lightweight on my lips. I wear this pretty much on a daily basis. I purchased it from Superdrug, it’s normally £6.99 but when I bought it they had a 3 for 2 offer on all cosmetics…
This lipstick is a pretty nude/pink shade, it’s quite a fair shade but it looks perfect for a everyday makeup look. I really like how it feels on my lips, it’s not sticky at all. I purchased this from Fragrance Direct for £2.99, it’s normally priced at £7.99 so I saved £5.00… BARGAIN!
I’m not very keen on bright pink lips but I really like blending this lipstick in with a darker nude shade. I apply a darker nude shade in the corners of my lips and then apply this in the middle, then use my finger to quickly blend the both together. It looks sooo nice! I think if I were tanned then this would look nice on it’s own but it’s too pink for my pale skin. This came in my Latest In Beauty box that arrived early July. You can check out that post here.
I was super excited about this lipstick. Although I like a nice nude shade, I do like a nice dark red/purple for night’s out. So when I came across this on Fragrance Direct for only £2.99 reduced from £13.95 (savings of £10.96) I couldn’t resist buying it. I hadn’t heard of Oriflame before but for only £2.99, I thought whats the harm in trying it? I love the fact that its not too dark and it’s got a nice shimmer to it. It’s lovely to apply and lasts a fairly long time (I’ve not actually counted how long…) I would definitely buy more from them.
I’d seen this around and I love the packaging, it always catches my eye. It’s a nice liquid lipstick and it’s super easy to apply. I love how easy it goes on and how it feels once it’s on. Another purchase from Fragrance Direct, this one was only £1.99 from £6.99 (savings of £5.00). The only downside to it is the fact that it’s quite thin, I have to apply a fair bit for it to look ‘good’ but over a nice lip liner there’s no problem.
I’d been dying to try these for months… I’ve seen them all over social media and blog posts! I went to my local Boots but soon found out they didn’t stock it so I had to get it online… Okay so to start with, it’s not as thick and long lasting as I had hoped… BUT it’s still really good in many other factors. It glides on easy, it’s not sticky and it feels really lightweight! For £5.00 online at Boots, I can’t complain.
I genuinely think Fragrance Direct is my new favourite website… I’ve already had 4 orders from them!? My first order compiled of 12 products for only £25.65 + FREE DELIVERY! My second was 7 products for £13.95 + £1.99 delivery. The third order was 12 products for £21.99 + FREE DELIVERY! The fourth and final order was only 2 products for £5.97 + £1.99 delivery. I am in love with this site, it’s such good value for money and there’s some really decent products available! Thanks to my friend and fellow blogger Lyndsey – http://beautywhirlwind.wix.com/makeyourselfshine – I now have a shopping addiction… No seriously, I love this site!
Until next time!
