June Favourites

Hellooo guys,

I completely missed last months monthly favourites, for that I apologize. BUT I’m finally getting my butt into gear and getting back on track with my blog. As you can see, I’ve given my blog a new look and I’m sooo happy with how it’s turned out! Ever since I started my blog (a year ago) I had this design in my head but struggled to actually get up and designed. I couldn’t find a decent site to design it on, and I’m useless with Photoshop… But finally, here it is! Anyways, as I said, I’ve been slacking BIG TIME on my blog. At first my problem was thinking of a post and then I got lazy, I was working long hours and in my spare time, I didn’t want to do anything. I cut down on my overtime and I’ve now got a lot more time to myself, so hopefully I’ll have more posts for you!

So to kick start my June Favourites, here are my Beauty Favourites.

Beauty Favourites:

MUA Undress Your Skin Skimmer Highlighter in Pink Shimmer.

I was never really into highlighting before but I recently came across this beauty and it’s now part of my daily routine. For only £3.00 I couldn’t resist! I love how subtle and shimmery it is. I use a fan brush to apply it, and it works perfectly. You can find it in your local Superdrug.

Sleek Cream Contour Kit in Medium 096

This one sort of goes hand in hand with the above highlighter. It is by far my favourite contour kit that I’ve tried! I purchased it from Boots for roughly £10.00. My only issue is applying it, my real techniques brush that I use it too big for this palette but I make it work. I use the top left shade 01 and the bottom right shade 06, blend it into my foundation and the finishing look is just beautiful.

Everyone of these lip liners are my favourites this month! As you can tell, I LOVE a nude shade.

General Favourites:

Netflix

I’ve been loving TV shows this month, as I mentioned, I’ve been working ALOT of hours so in my spare time I’ve been too lazy to do anything other than watch telly. Netflix has basically been my “bae” this month. I binge watched season 4 of Orange Is The New Black in 2 days… I’ve also started to watch Sons of Anarchy, so far so good! Reign finished it’s season too.

Bella Italia

Who doesn’t love Italian food? Every now and then this past month, I’ve had a trip or two to my local Bella Italia. It’s now my favourite restaurant! They constantly have offers on, make sure you sign up to their emails to receive vouchers and deals, my last email scored my a free bottle of wine and my mum got a 30% off voucher.

 Notebook

For my last general favourite, I have my notebook. I purchased it from Asda for a couple of pounds. I love how cute it is! I made my own little calender using Excel and gave it some colour, every time I write a new blog post I colour in the date it was posted. I’m hoping it gives me a little boost into blogging more. Over the next few pages are post ideas but for obvious reasons, I couldn’t take photos of them.
